Great design comes from the heart - the ability to express yourself and your passions through design. It challenges one to step out of their comfort zone, to understand one's clients and their needs, and finding that perfect balance between form and function.

With a background in History and Art History, Megan grew up immersing herself in different eras and cultures around the world. Megan is passionate about creating environments that break the boundaries of design. To her, function and aesthetic go hand in hand when creating a space - she wants the user to have a memorable experience that leaves them energized and inspired. Her bold sense of style allows her to think outside of the box creating a space that is truly unlike any other. Her hope is to grow her unique outlook on design in the world and be able to contribute to making beautiful memories come to life that positively impact those around her for years to come.

Megan has been able to learn and grow as the lead Interior Designer for a local Charlotte firm. From restaurants to offices to multi-family, Megan has been able to experiences all fields of design, Creating unique and daring interiors is a challenge she meets everyday. "Ultimately I want to push the boundaries of design, while also creating a space that the client will love. They come to me with ideas and excitement - it's up to my team and I to take that dream and make it a reality." Creating beautiful and functional spaces is more than just a job, it's a passion and a way of life.
Eleni
Last year Megan founded Black Orchid Interiors that focused on Interior Design, Logo Design and Floral Design. The focus of this business is to create unique and personal designs that break the boundaries of traditional design. Taking her business online based she was able to create an experience for clients that would otherwise not be able to realize.
Online based designed packages allowed for people from all aspects and areas of life to have their design vision realized.
